We are excited for your student (and your family if you’re new) to join this wonderful community.
Parents of incoming PreK and Kindergarten students are asked to attend:
PARENTS ONLY meeting – Tuesday, July 30th at 10:30am
Meet the Teacher (with your student) – Tuesday, July 30th at 5pm-7pm
July 30, 2019
Please join us for the Teacher Meet and Greet! This is a great time to drop off your school supplies and meet your student’s teacher for the first time. We highly encourage every student to be there with their parents so you can get some important information that your student’s teacher wants you to know to help your student have the most successful school year possible. The first day of school is August 1st.
Don’t forget to visit the cafeteria to join PTA, sign-up for committees, and to place orders for spirit wear and yearbooks!
*** If you ordered school supplies, they will be in your students classroom. ***
We look forward to seeing everyone back at the Teacher Meet and Greet!
Please see the attached files for the proposed Bylaws changes. These changes will be voted on during the April meeting.

Students will be evaluated by
a group of independent judges on three criteria:

Project Logbook – Was the

necessary data displayed?
– Each student should be able

Due West PTA is a collection of parents and teachers that have the goal of getting families actively involved in our school community. Schools work best when they have parents involved in the entire process of their child’s education. We have many active programs here at Due West Elementary and we always need volunteers. Please look at our list of programs to see where you can join us in making Due West the best school it possibly can be.
